F.U.F Jim Louderback aka @jlouderb

While I was in San Fran, I bumped in to Jim Louderback at a ScamSchool.tv shoot.  Jim was there with his family.  No longer could he dodge my CALLS.  I tackled him and  he fought fearlessly; for an older dude.   OK, so maybe I should stop the weird story right there.  Sadly, there was no EPIC BATTLE.

Jim is one of those guys that at times I’m sure could kill you from kindness.  He’s just one of the good guys!  With that being said, Jim is also very smart.  It was fun to pick his brain.  This man knows a lot about video & I love video,  so it was cool to hear his thoughts.  Now I’ve got to get him to put a brotha on Revision3. Maybe I can tell him I know @KevinRose?

If you’re into “Youtube”,  be sure to check out and subscribe to the new Rev3 shows there!  As mentioned in the video, we both share a love for @Viddler and @sandieman. That being said, I will link up Youtube channels anyway:

YouTube/Diggnation
YouTube/FilmRiot
YouTube/ROFL

Feel free to follow my boy @jlouderb, he rarely tweets, so it’s almost like he’s not even there! I think he went in my phone and deleted his number when I ran to the lav! NOT cool Jim!

  • Jim IS the nicest guy. I had the pleasure of meeting him at both live Diggnation events in NY. He actually remembered me at the second one, and when I asked him about employment, he gave me his card. I thought that would be a standard thing to do, and brushed it off. When I actually sent him my resume, he passed it along to the appropriate person within Rev3, and gave me his blessing. Although I didn't get the job, he was supportive throughout the process. I then contacted him while working on another project, and he wrote me a sincere congratulations for working with someone who is so respected in our technology/media related field. Usually, the term CEO is synonymous with the word cold-blooded. Jim is the exact opposite. I am fortunate to have interacted with him, even to a small degree.
  • Thats a great story and shows just how cool Jim is! Thanks for sharing that Stwo!
