| Romancing the Stone |

Me and my boyfriend have been together for a while and are very much in love. We are together all the time and he always tells me how much he loves me and how beautiful he thinks i am and says he wants to do all these romanic things....problem is, he never does.
He doesnt plan any romantic dates or cute days together. I've only gotten flowers on valentines day and have never gotten any presents..am i just superficial or does this just mean he doesnt care enough to plan anything? |

Hey Madison,
Sounds like you two have a wonderful relationship but, he may have a problem showing his affection. A lot of guys have this problem. Maybe you have to be the icebreaker. Take him to a type of place he said he would take you. Also do something romantic for him and see how he reacts. If he goes along with everything maybe he will now be more comfortable being the initiator in the future. If he rejects your attempts then maybe you have a bigger issue, and he does not mean the things he says to you. I don't think you’re being superficial at all; everyone loves to be spoiled by their significant other from time to time.
